Pamela
Voisin - trumpet Pam attended Arkansas State University and Illinois State
University and taught junior high band for four years in West Memphis, Arkansas. After living in Houston TX
for a short time and studying trumpet with Dick Schaeffer of the Houston Symphony Orchestra, Pam moved to Jacksonville FL,
where she was a charter member of the St. Johns River City Band, one of the nation's few professional British-style Brass Bands. She was also on the administrative staff for the
SJRCB and held several positions in her ten-year career there, including Operations Manager, Education Coordinator and
Executive Director. Pam played as an extra with the Jacksonville Symphony
Orchestra, and she and Peter performed regularly with several prominent church organists
in the area. Since moving to Hendersonville NC she has performed with the Spartanburg Symphony and is also is playing with the Smoky Mountain Brass Band in Asheville. Pam also works with Peter at Ameriprise Financial Advisors, and spends as much time as possible in the
garden!
